We realise that some young people want to move into a job as soon as they can after leaving school, while others want to improve their basic skill levels so they will get a better quality job.

The target group for our programme is those students who whilst needing to improve their general literacy and numeracy skills, also have a desire to find meaningful employment.

Our programme addresses literacy and numeracy needs along with unit standards towards the National Certificate in Employment Skills. Students develop a pathway plan that identifies what they want to do in the future and what they need to do to achieve this goal.

Our goal is to recognise the potential, lift the aspirations and enhance the education of each student who is enrolled at Education Action. Each student is given personal service and the dignity of the learner is preserved at all times.

Education Action has trained teaching staff who believe that there are no limits to what the individual can achieve if there are clear goals, a plan of action and a focus and determination to succeed.
